With Hurricane Katrina coming ashore doesn’t the name of that Old 80’s band Katrina and the Waves seem kind of…well, spooky?

Just found an Austrailian news story that uses the headline

The folks over at the CTA Tattler have set up text alerts so we can inform each other of delays on the CTA trains, since the CTA does such a horrible job of informing us. (”-Garbled message- Brown Line -Garbled Message- Thankyouforyourpatience “) Since the service started by this volunteer group, the CTA announced that they are doing a pilot project and have actually joined the CTA Tattler network to send “official alerts” How cool is that?

A lot happening:

* I have been condo hunting since I got my promotion at work. I think I found a place which I soon may make an offer on. Oh my…gonna actually be in debt up to my eyeballs
* My friend Quoc celebrated his XXth birthday yesterday. Please drop him an email and wish him a Happy Bday! (Note - number removed out of respect for the elderly :P)
* My wrist is OK now…still a bit sore if i bend it waaaaaaaaaay back, but otherwise, it is OK.

General website thoughts:
* Somebody left me a comment saying that my website was not funny and was boring. First of all…if you don’t like it, go somewhere else. Secondly, I don’t consider this a humor website. Get a life!
* Don’t email me and tell me what to put on my blog. If i want to post something, I will becuse i strongly believe in it. If you don’t like it, get your own damn blog.
