election thoughts

1.5 days until the election, and I am pretty confident that Kerry is going to win…but there is this little voice telling me it won’t turn out that way. I hope to snuff out the voice.

And according to the Redskins poll predictor, Kerry has already won, thanks to their loss today.

A little of everything, a lot of nothing.

Just got back from gym, stopped at store and picked up some baby carrots as a work snack food.

Had to edit a post a few down. Those Google ads on the right side (which i get a commission on) saw all of the crappy stuff I wrote about…um Obama’s opponent and started putting links to his websites! ARRGH!

My friend Quoc’s sister asked me to put a link up on his website, as she is running in an AIDS marathon. I hope you will go and support her, as she is trying to raise $3000.

I have been listening to podcasts for about a week now, I am hooked. The software i am using is from ipodder.org

Bush Planning on Calling Kerry?

This is interesting from msnbc.com:

Kerry pooler David Jackson of the Dallas Morning News got to the bottom of a private exchange between Bush and Kerry at the debate the other night: “After the two candidates shook hands, Kerry moved toward the audience - but Bush grabbed his arm, with both hands, and pulled him back into continuing their brief conversation.”  Jackson later followed up, reporting that Kerry advisor Mike “McCurry said that when Bush pulled Kerry back last night it was to ask him a friendly question: ‘Where are you going to be on Election Night?’  McCurry said Kerry got the impression it was to set up the election night phone calls.”

Barrett’s Esophagus

I mentioned on this post that I was going in for an endoscopy. I got the results back last week, and I have Barrett’s Esophagus. Additional info here, here and here. Doctor is suggesting surgery as i also have a hiatal hernia. At least it is minimally invasive. May do it in the spring. In the mean time….me and my Prevacid will get along just fine. John Elway takes it.
