Actually, 2 Senate candidates

I just realized i have seen 2 Senate candidates….while I was having Chinese New Year Dinner with some friends last Saturday, Maria Pappas came in and made the rounds and did a bunch of hand shakes and introduced herself. I wonder if the candidates are following ME around? Must be my paranoia kicking in :)

Red Line - Belmont

If you want to be a candidate and get elected, you park yourself and your supporters in front of my Train Station Senate candidate Dan Hynes was there yesterday. Day before was a candidate for Clerk of Courts. Heck, last year I met our eventual congressman Rahm Emanuel. One of the nice things about being in such a densely populated area.

Bush and Eyes

Boot Bush! Donate to the DNC today
Bush’s State of the Union address really pissed me off, grand promises and no money to fund them. I hope you as a loyal “Chicagoland of Confusion” reader will make a donation by clicking that link or on the button. Help make a difference!

By the way my eyes are fine…the doctor said I would need a verrrrrry small prescription, if at all. Said my eyes were very healthy. YAY!

Chicago Card PlusPicked up the Chicago Card Plus for use with my transit to and from work. You can manage your account online with a credit card and have it automatically recharge when it hits a certain level. Boarding is quicker…just touch the pad…I like it so far!

Recluse?

Ugh!

Work has been tough, and I have been sleeping like a LOG at night, which is nice for a change.  Been going to the gym lately and am going lo-carb, but I have these bread cravings now!

I’ve kind of turned into a hermit.  Don’t want to talk to anyone or be social at all.  I’ve always wondered if I am suffering from sort of mild clinical depression.

Side note : I played the Illinois Lottery Lotto game on a whim Wednesday and won $30.50!  Woo hoo!

Recommended Green Tea

Bought a Tazo Tea Sampler from Walgreen’s today, and I really like the “China Green Tips”  - “A traditional Chinese green tea with a delicate fresh taste and light green liquor” . I am sure there is no liquor in it, but the taste is wonderful.  Two thumbs up!

Oops!

Grabbed my bag, headed down to the gym, got into the gym, got to the locker room….and I had grabbed my work bag….no gym clothes at all. So I said f@ck it and went home.

Been sleeping good lately…finally! Not sure why but maybe my mood swings lately have something to do with it.

having problems with your cat??? Have it arrested.

Planning iraq invasion before 9/11?

If this news story is true, it is indeed very disturbing. Bush wanted to take out Saddam before 9/11? Very disturbing, but it doesn’t surprise me.

As you can see we are down to Yellow/Bert terror level.
